SNG Hand Guidelines

First of all, SNG Hand Guidelines has solid and tight early on only play strong hands.
So, for example pairs from 22 thru 99-Only call and only up to three times the big blind. At any larger raises just fold. Now, on the larger pairs, for example 10 10, JJ, QQ, KK, AA-call for a raise on a short table. Be prepared to call an all in with any of these ones.
QJ, QK, KJ and A 10- play like small pairs. Fold to raises larger than three times the big blind.
Now, there are also hands that can get you into trouble. AJ, AQ, AK…You need to know when to fold them. They are all great hands when down to 3 or 4 players, but early on they are dead to any pair. So be careful and learn to lay them down in the early part of a poker tourney.
Show winners and kill Bingo
So, until you get in the money, show the winners. The table sees those KK and trip 7′s etc and no bluffs on a single hand. Yet. That comes alone when there are just three left and then you do not show the winners. You can set up some excellent steals. But do be careful not to create a pattern. This can be a problem if you are playing with regulars.
Bingo players are easy to kill by only playing premium hands in the early stages. Most of the time bingo players play themselves out.
Amin to win
Making the money places in SNG’s is easier than in an MTT, but in most cases only the top three places are going to pay out with the third usually only paying back at least buy-in.

Practice, practice, practice. Doyle Brunson said: “No Limit Holdem can be learnt in an hour but takes a lifetime to master.”
